After work today...
...I took my camera and went for a drive! I blame Su and Poe for this actually! LOL! I decided that I felt like taking some pics of the trees that have just started changing colors...and I noticed in the graveyard that I drive by each morning there were some beautiful ones!
This graveyard is so cool...some very old graves here, plus some cool crypts and statues! Not sure why but I find cemeteries very calming and kinda interesting. This cemetery is pretty huge and has many 'streets'...if you are interested...

Anyhoo, I hopefully got some good pics of trees and some statued graves and crypts. The funny thing...I got lost and drove and drove and each exit I came to, the gates were locked! I was beginning to worry that I had been locked in the cemetery overnight! LOL!! Luckily, I spotted a crypt that I passed on my way in and made my way to the main gate! Whew!!!

It makes me happy to get blamed for something GOOD!! *grins* I LOVE cemetaries, and if you'd been my friend over the last year you would have been bombarded with many a picture!! We live near Swan Point cemetary in Providence where H.P. Lovecraft is buried, and took pics of the kids around his grave!

I've been locked in at a beach overnight, but never a cemetary (although I've been in my share of cemetaries at night... ^_~ ).

I can't wait to see the pictures!!!
Mark: guy Riverboywondermark on November 5th, 2005 04:47 am (UTC)
I really hope they come out well...the sun was very low in the sky (around 5:00-5:30).

I tried to get some pretty trees too!

Somebody remind me to have a lil chat with Poe/Frank about their fondness for cemeteries corrupting the entire lot of you.

*grins* Sounds neat, and I can't wait to see pics.

LOL! I've always liked cemeteries...not in quite the same way as our nocturnal Mr Poe! *grin*

*laughs* What is it about cemeteries and my flist this week. I'm not kidding Mark, look -
http://www.livejournal.com/users/fey_puck/284990.html#cutid1 -I'd link another one for you too, but it's locked, then there was the one in Su's journal the other day, and now you...

I'm glad that you didn't get locked in! That would have been scary.

Mark: guy Blondyboywondermark on November 5th, 2005 03:33 pm (UTC)
Happens around here too, Mike! I don't understand the thrill in being destructive! :(
