Attention, Batfans!
While surfing, I found this really cool website (well to me anyhoo)...This group calls themselves "GOTHAM PUBLIC WORKS"...

Here is one of the group pics followed by an explanation of their group from their "About Us"...

Gotham Public Works first formed in 1999 after its two founding members met at a costume contest and discovered how they each felt a special connection to the characters they portray and also shared a strong desire to be much more than just people putting on a decent costume once or twice a year.
Since then GPW has become and experienced far more than what they felt they could realistically expect in the early days, and now their plans and ambitions have grown accordingly as they continue to be excited about what they can achieve next.
The group’s resume consists of a variety of things from TV appearances to modeling for noteworthy comic book artists, and they’ve received accolades from the likes of Mark Hamill, Paul Dini, Billy West, Elijah Wood, Greg Rucka and a healthy dose of other voice-over, film, and comic industry professionals that get the group’s members feeling pretty slaphappy just thinking about it.
Even more rewarding has been the actively positive reaction from their fellow Batman fans. GPW’s commitment to quality, detail-driven custom costuming and accurate character portrayal and interaction has struck a chord with what appears to be thousands of comic fans, and knowing that so many people across the globe approve so highly of what they do serves as wonderful encouragement and makes their efforts feel beyond worthwhile.
Slowly but surely Gotham Public Works continues to painstakingly add new characters to its roster, expanding their own piece of Gotham where they get to become the very incarnations of the characters they love, for themselves and for the countless people over the years who have responded to seeing these characters come to life.
It’s been a surreal ride full of incredible joys, deep disappointments, excitement, conflict, insanity, lots of fun, and only the occasional debauchery. For all it brings, GPW’s members remain overjoyed to have it be a part of their lives, and for as long as they’re able (which they hope is a quite long time) they’ll continue to do what they can to bring Gotham to life.

Hmmmm... I see that they don't have Robin in the group yet!
Let's see, ...who do I know that would make an awesome Robin???

That's it!!! Mark, the Boy Wonder!!!

So, do you have any plans to move to Southern CA to become Robin???

I bet you are tempted!!

I think these guys do an incredible job! I was blown away! I've tried to get a group together a few different times on Halloween to do a Batman villains theme...to no avail! I need more gay friends...we like themes! LOL!
That icon is scary, Phil...excellent job on THAT!

Thanks... but I can't take credit for it. The make-up girls from Pumped Inc. were the ones responsible for that.
But I did take note of what make-up products they used and how they applied it.
I'm hoping to repeat it for T-con next month.

And hey... if you DO manage a group together for this Halloween, let me know, ...I want in on it!
LOL

Oooooooooooo...that's right...you were an extra! SO COOL!!
I'd get a blast from doing any group! Marvel or DC! Bat Villains, Flash's Rogues, Morlocks, The Savage Land Mutants...anything!
