I read that earlier today, I feel devistated even though I just knew of him from your posts. That poem was really sweet, Mark.

It really hurts when someone so young dies. I'm glad you liked it, Dave. ~hug~

How old was Justin? I am just shocked to hear that he had a stroke. :( *sniffle* poor guy ... poor Kurt to have to go thru with the aftermath. I hope he realizes that there are people out there to support him, even though he may not know them.

Justin was just 19 yrs old, Dave. Such a tragic loss.

Thanks...I hope Kurt knows that he has folks to talk to.

Sweetie, i'm so sorry. After reading his journal and learning how horribly Kurt is being treated, i will pray that the parents find understanding, or at least compassion.
There are many things that happen in this world i just don't understand, and the lack of compassion and respect for another human being tops the list, especially during such a difficult time. i hope they can find it in their hearts to put their personal feelings aside and remember they share in the love and the loss, and neither should be a selfish act.

It's amazing to me, Jeff...in the life of so many gays, how recurring the theme of anger and rejection by parents is.

I'm so sorry, Mark. So very young. My thoughts are with your friends and you in this time. Losing someone is never easy. Thank you for the beautiful poem.

Thank you, Joanne! I unfortunately found out about Justin and his situation not long ago and never got the chance to know him.
