1. One book that changed your life:

LOL...okay...well...not that this book is a classic or masterpiece but
"Magic's Pawn" by Mercedes Lackey...because it had the first gay
character and gay relationship that I'd ever read. I still have a soft spot for Vanyel.
(This was the first book in a trilogy).

2. One book that you’ve read more than once:

"Interview with a Vampire" by Anne Rice

3. One book you’d want on a desert island:

ONE?! That's impossible! Maybe the Bible.

4. One book that made you laugh:

"Uncle Remus : The Complete Tales"

5. One book that made you cry:

"Light Before Day" by Christopher Rice

6. One book that you wish had been written:

"My Life and Beliefs" by Jesus

7. One book that you wish had never been written:

Any book that supports a belief of hatred and prejudice

8. One book you’re currently reading:

"The Persian Boy" by Mary Renault

9. One book you’ve been meaning to read:

"The DaVinci Code" by Dan Brown

"The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Devils" by Dan Brown are both great. :)

I really want to read "The Persian Boy". I remember you talking a bit about it. Is it a series too? I can't seem to ever remember it when I'm out.

That book is the second in a trilogy of books by Mary Renault about Alexander the Great...

Fire From Heaven (1969) — Alexander the Great up to his father's death

The Persian Boy (1972) — Alexander after the conquest of Persia

Funeral Games (1981) — Alexander's successors

I know what you mean! I looked over my book shelves, but I have tons of books packed away too! I just used my memory and grabbed at the first things that came to mind!

P.S.: Cool answers. I need to buy "Light Before Day." I have "A Density of Souls" and "The Snow Garden" but I haven't read them.

I need to read the books by Mary Renault.
