Pear trees are so pretty! I didn't realize they'd already be in bloom there.

That's really beautiful.
Do they really produce "pear"?
Mark: Summer swingboywondermark on March 29th, 2006 12:36 am (UTC)
There are different types, Yang! Some only flower and some produce pears!

Markboywondermark on March 29th, 2006 01:30 am (UTC)
I just noticed the pear trees...we usually have dogwoods, cherry blossums, magnolias and crab apples blooming early spring!
pixee_led on March 29th, 2006 01:23 am (UTC)
Gorgeous, Mark! Ours haven't quite popped yet. *pouts* Any cherry trees where you are or do they hoarde them all in D.C.?

I love spring. My favorite season. *hugs and kisses*
Mark: flower lotusboywondermark on March 29th, 2006 01:35 am (UTC)
We have some here, but DC is always the place to go see them...right over at the basin near the Jefferson Memorial!

(Hey, sweetie...have you been getting my emails?)
pixee_led on March 29th, 2006 05:13 am (UTC)
I've only been in D.C. once, and it was late March, just before the cherry trees were supposed to bloom. We'd gone for a walk around this particular neighborhood looking for a house called The Octagon and happened to find one solitary cherry tree in full bloom. When we said something about it to the people at the house, they told us that a warm water pipe ran right under the roots of that tree and so it had bloomed before all the others.
(And that's my one and only cherry tree story. *bows*)

(I got your email about Friday - I'll do my best to be there. ^_^)

What makes them gay, Dale?
Dale T. GreatOnedgreatone on March 29th, 2006 06:22 pm (UTC)

Because they're pink, blooming, and happy?
Mark: flower lotusboywondermark on March 30th, 2006 12:04 am (UTC)
